Terms of Service

Effective date: October 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the SoloRoute mobile app, and the SoloRoute website at soloroute.app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use SoloRoute

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your login details and for activity on your account. Tell us right away at soloroute.app@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.

3. Plans and subscriptions

  • Free plan. The free plan lets you optimize routes with up to 20 stops each and add up to 20 new stops per day.
  • Pro. SoloRoute Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly (currently $7.99 per month or $71.99 per year in the US), that raises the limit to 100 stops per route and adds features described on our pricing page.
  • Free trial. Pro may start with a free trial (currently 7 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your app store starts the paid subscription and charges you. Trial eligibility is set by Apple or Google.
  • Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Their terms govern payment, renewal, refunds and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your app store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • Price and feature changes. We may change prices, limits or plan features. Price changes for an existing subscription are communicated through your app store before they apply, and you can cancel before they take effect.

4. Using the Service safely

SoloRoute suggests a stop order and estimated times. It does not replace your judgment. Always obey traffic laws, road signs and local rules, and do not interact with your phone while driving. Routes, travel times, addresses and map data can be wrong or out of date. You are responsible for deciding whether a route is safe and legal to drive.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything illegal, or to track people without their consent;
  • add personal data about other people unless you have the right to do so, for example to deliver to them;
  • scrape, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service or the third-party services it relies on;
  • resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content

You own the routes, stops, notes and photos you add ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending addresses to our mapping, geocoding and route optimization providers. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

7. Our content and third-party services

The SoloRoute app, website, name, logo and design belong to us and are protected by law. The Service uses third-party maps, geocoding, routing and navigation services. Your use of navigation apps such as Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps is subject to their own terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep SoloRoute running, but we do not promise the Service will always be available, error-free or that every feature will stay the same. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the Service with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of routes or travel times, and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SoloRoute will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost earnings, missed deliveries, fines, or vehicle or traffic incidents arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid anything. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as disclaimers and limitation of liability, will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will give notice in the app or on this website. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where SoloRoute's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence give you rights that cannot be waived.
