Circuit is now Spoke
If you are searching for “Circuit Route Planner”, you will find Spoke. Same company, new name. The app works much the same way, but the free plan is limited to 10 stops per route as of October 2026. Past that you need Spoke Lite at $9.99 a month or Spoke Standard at $19.99 a month.
For a lot of drivers, 10 stops isn’t a full day. That is usually when people start looking for a Circuit alternative.
Why drivers switch to SoloRoute
SoloRoute does the same core job: you add stops, it finds the fastest order, and you drive it. The differences that matter most:
- Twice the free stops per route. 20 stops per route on the free plan, with optimization. The free plan allows 20 new stops a day.
- A cheaper paid plan. Pro is $7.99 a month or $71.99 a year for 100 stops per route, with a 7-day free trial, plus unlimited saved addresses and reverse route.
- Your own map app. Each stop opens in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps, so you keep the navigation you already trust.
What you get for free
The free plan isn’t a stripped-down demo. With up to 20 stops per route you can:
- add stops by search, by pasting a list, from a CSV or spreadsheet, by scanning a printed list, from up to 100 saved addresses or by dropping a pin,
- add notes, a phone number, a package count and package location to any stop, and pin a stop first or last,
- optimize the route in one tap,
- drag stops to reorder them, and edit any stop at any time,
- navigate with Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps,
- call a customer or send an “I’m on my way” text with your arrival time,
- mark stops delivered, or failed with a reason and retry later,
- open past routes from the side menu, in light or dark mode.
The free plan also allows up to 20 new stops a day. If you regularly run more than that, Pro removes the cap and takes you to 100 stops per route. Pro also adds time windows and photo proof of delivery.
What Spoke still does better
A fair comparison has to say this. Spoke is the better choice if:
- you want built-in turn-by-turn navigation. SoloRoute hands each stop to Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps instead.
- you want the route planner itself on your CarPlay or Android Auto screen. SoloRoute uses your map app for that.
- you want customers to follow a live ETA link, or you need pickup stops.
- you run more than 20 stops a day in routes of 10 or fewer and want to stay free. Spoke lists no daily cap; SoloRoute’s free plan stops at 20 new stops a day.
- you dispatch routes to a team of drivers from one dashboard.
- you are happy with Spoke and the price works for you.
If none of those apply, you are likely paying more than you need to.
The cost over a year
- SoloRoute Pro: $71.99 a year on the annual plan, or $7.99 a month ($95.88 a year).
- Spoke annual plan (App Store): $119.99 a year.
- Spoke Lite: $9.99 a month, about $120 a year.
- Spoke Standard: $19.99 a month, about $240 a year.
- RoadWarrior: $14.99 a month, about $180 a year.

How to switch in five minutes
- Install SoloRoute from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with email, Google or Apple.
- Get your addresses out of Spoke or your dispatcher’s sheet as a list or a CSV file.
- In SoloRoute, paste the list or import the file. Each address is matched to a location.
- Set your start and end points, then tap Optimize.
- Tap Navigate on your first stop.
If your stops come on paper, scan the list with your camera instead of typing.
